Is the website only dedicated to singles from the country, isolated regions or for those who love the countryside? I live in a major capital city and would like to join.
A:
Ozcountrysingles is unique, we created a website that appeals to those who live in, understand & love the country lifestyle. Of course we welcome new members across Australia including capital cities.
Q:
Is it free to join?
A:
Yes! It’s free to join, search and send smileys. To email a member you will need to buy a membership. (Available in 1, 3, 6 & 12 months). It’s always FREE to reply to emails, even if you are not a paid member.
Q:
I have joined & I have paid for a membership however I cannot upload a photo, email, send smileys or access anything on your site. Why?
A:
When you registered, an email was sent to you to activate your profile. If you have not activated your profile then you will not be able to use any features of the website, even if you are a paid member. This is to help stop unauthorized use of your email. Please check your junk or spam mail folders and also check the email address is correct when you log into the site.
Q:
I am overseas and would like to join Ozcountrysingles, however I keep getting a redirection error when I try and register. Why?
A:
Ozcountrysingles is for Australian members only. To help avoid unwanted spam, scammers & other potential fraud & hazards we have restricted all access to the website for countries outside of Australia.
Q:
I want to take a break from dating and wish to hide my profile. Can I do this?
A:
Yes you can hide your profile while you are taking a break and activate it again when you are ready to start dating again. To hide your profile you will need to go to “Edit Profile” and select “Hide profile”.
Q:
I have met someone and wish to terminate my account, can I do this?
A:
Yes, you can delete your account by selecting “My profile” from the top menu and select unregister.
Q:
I have come across an obscene, offensive / profile or message, can I report this person?
A:
Yes you can copy the members name and contact us, selecting the “report user” option in the menu.
Q:
I met someone on Ozcountrysingles and would like to share my story; can I send you my story?
A:
Yes we love to hear about success stories, please send on through.
Q:
What happens with my email and other personal details on Ozcountrysingles?
A:
We do not sell or disclose any personal information from Ozcountrysingles. If a dispute is made through Paypal and your profile email address and your Paypal email address are the same, your profile activity also containing your email address will be disclosed to Paypal to help with the dispute.
